A solid foundation

A newly refreshed brand paved the way for a modern, efficient approach to Wedgewood’s logged in portal experience. Using the vibrant new color palette and clean, sophisticated typography, we started the base for a growing design system.

Enhancing efficiency in search and checkout

Prescribing and purchasing medication for multiple different pets, owners and offices at a time can feel like a daunting task, especially when each form/strength of every medication has it’s own SKU resulting in a different product page. We designed a robust filtering system that could be hidden and shown on demand, as well as a grid view and list view to accommodate varying search patterns.

A PDP that is efficient and informative

Though we were only scoped for desktop designs on this particular portion of the project, we anticipated an eventual mobile-first experience with large, tappable and legible UI. Intentional spacing, type and color usage was of utmost importance to drive efficiency. We also included iconography and emojis the help keep things easily recognizable and scannable.

Lessening the cognitive load

With so many ways to purchase so many different products at once, one of our key design principles is consistent reminders on where people are in their journey during the checkout process.
